Notre dojo de Montréal a participé au stage international de Kobudo  qui a été dirigé par Sensei Kenyu Chinen 8Dan Kobudo  assisté par Sensei Martin Takatsy 5Dan Kobudo.

Cette année les ceintures noires ont eu encore une fois  la chance d’avoir plus de détails techniques en ce qui concerne les katas et techniques de Bo et Kama.

INF and Croatian Nanbudo federation held an international seminar with Sensei Jean Frenette 8Dan in Zagreb from 16 till 18 December 2011.
The pedagogy and martial arts culture of Sensei was really appreciated by the participants, he was able to show the relationship between originality and modernity of the techniques taught.
At the end of this event, Sensei Mehdi Naguib had a Nanbudo grading exam for 5Dan, Shihan-Dai.

La gestion du stress était le sujet de l’allocution de Sensei M.Naguib  au siège social de la compagnie Forensic Technology spécialisée dans le domaine de balistique.
Suite à cette invitation, Naguib a présenté les différentes sources du stress et  a proposé quelques méthodes pour le gérer et le dissiper

Stress management was the topic of the speech of M. Naguib Sensei at head office
of Forensic Technology , a company specialized in the field of ballistics.
Following this invitation, Naguib presented the different sources of stress and proposed some
methods to manage it .

Le Nanbudo Canadien a pu décrocher la quatrième place après le Maroc, La Croatie et la Suisse, avec une médaille d’Or  en compétition Jurandori par Mustapha Loussine, une médaille d’Argent en Kata par Martin Castilloux et une médaille de  Bronze en Kata par Mustapha Loussine.

Notre équipe est retournée au pays avec des titres,  des beaux souvenirs et amitiés, mais surtout avec beaucoup d’apprentissage et expérience pour continuer le développement de notre Nanbudo.

Félicitations encore Team Canada 2011 !

For the first time in the history of Worldwide Nanbudo three continents (Africa, Europe and North America)
were present for a Nanbudo  world cup, also this is the first time the Canadian Nanbudo was represented by
a team, after years of continuous work.

Nanbudo Canada  got fourth place after Morocco,Croatia and Switzerland, with a Gold medal in competition Jurandori by  Loussine Mustapha, a Silver medal in Kata by Martin Castilloux and Bronze medal in Kata by Loussine Mustapha.

Our team returned home with titles, memories and  friendships, but also with good energy and experience  to continue developing our Nanbudo.

Team Canada 2011 will represent our country in Nanbudo World Cup- Casablanca 5-8 May 2011.

Nous étions très fiers d’accueillir pour la première fois au Canada un maître de renommé mondiale venant  de la Croatie : Renshi Petar Turkovic 7Dan Nanbudo pour notre stage annuel de  Nanbudo. Renshi Petar a enseigné avec brio les trois branches du Nanbudo soit le Budo ho, le Kido ho et le Noryokukaihatsuo.

Une énergie extraordinaire était parmi nous de par les enseignements de Renshi Petar. Les ceintures avancées étaient enthousiasmées en raison du nouveau bagage martial du stage international.

We would like to thank Renshi Petar Turkovic 7th Dan for bringing his Nanbudo
mastery into the first international Nanbudo Seminar in North America
organised in Montreal From: March 18th, 2011 untill March 20th, 2011.

The Seminar was successful and covered all Nanbudo aspects, with the presence of all
NCA instructors from Montreal, Toronto centre Alpha and centre Papa.

Starting with Kihon, Sankukai Combinaison then Randori and finishing by Kata,
the whole training was just amazing ! we always  enjoy Karate with
Jean Frenette Sensei. This year we had a visit  from Zagreb-Croatia,
Renshi Petar Turkovic 7th Dan Nanbudo and also a  Sankukai karateka.
